Step 1: Select the domain you want to transfer

1. Sign in to Google Domains.
2. Click the name of the domain you want to transfer.

Step 2: Prepare your domain for transfer

1. In the top left, click Menu Registration settings.
2. Under "Domain lock," make sure your domain is unlocked.
3. To the right of "Transfer out," click Get authorization code.
4. Select To a different domain registrar and click Continue, then sign in if necessary.
5. Copy the authorization code and provide it to your new registrar.

Step 3: Authorize the transfer of your domain

You may have to re-enter and verify the contact information for your registration or verify existing information. This process may make a change to the registrant, administrative, or technical contact provided for the registration.
